I have been on the other side of rehabilitation - as a daughter, wife, mother and friend. Hence, I’m deeply passionate about delivering specialized, nuanced, and educated care that helps one go beyond just recovering from injury.
I have a doctorate in physical therapy from New York University and am Board Certified in Orthopedics. I have traveled on the tennis pro-circuit and am passionate about sports with a particularly keen interest in running, tennis, padel, badminton and squash; Tennis being my personal and professional passion.

My life goal is for everyone to believe that exercise can be a cure-it-all - in the context of benign medical conditions at least.
I like to help my patients get back to the physical capability they were at or aspire to be at and for that I find it imperative for you to understand your body, injury, and healing processes. I like to make you an active participant in your care but remain on the sidelines for triaging and guiding you through injuries.

Starting my own practice wasn’t an easy decision. It took time, confidence, and a lot of soul-searching. But it was born from a desire to advocate for physical therapy — practiced properly and given the credit it deserves for transforming lives.
If you're still here, I want you to know that I truly care - about you, your injury and your recovery.
You're exactly the patient whose life I want to change for the better.

What athletes are saying about Theraprana:
I had some aches and niggles while preparing for the New York city marathon that quickly became injuries I couldn’t ignore. Shraddha helped me understand my injuries, prevent them from getting worse and I hit my PR in the NYC marathon!! She even modifed my running plan and we worked on recovery tools. I was able to run the NY and Chicago marathons injury-free under her care. I simply love my sessions with her.
Dani, 29, marathoner.
I’ve had an issue with my hip since adolescence that restricts my ability to participate in sports or be painfree 100% of the time. Ever since I met Shraddha, I could drastically reduce my intake of pain medicines. Her approach to my condition was so informative and practical. She has changed how I view a chronic condition and how I treat my body. The surgeon said I was an anomaly playing such high-level sports with physical therapy alone. If you’re looking for 1 on 1 care that is completely tailored to your goals and lifestyle, I could not recommend Shraddha enough.
Avi, 35, tennis player.
I had a hip replacement surgery in London and was looking to incorporate sports into my life when I moved to New York. Shraddha helped me get started with pickleball. I can’t believe how strong and confident I feel on court thanks to my sessions with her. I also appreciated her ability to treat me virtually whenever I was traveling.
Darien, 51, pickleball player.
I have had multiple labral injuries due to power lifting. I came to Shraddha after a labral repair surgery with the only goal of returning to power lifting. We did months of physical therapy that covered strength training, regaining range and plyometric work. I felt so confident and prepared when I finally did return to weight lifting. She has this tendency of making each session interesting. Highly recommend!!
Jon, 35, powerlifter.

I started my medical journey with dreams of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. But over time, I chose a less-traveled path — one that has taken me across two countries (India and USA) and shown me how physical therapy, though rapidly evolving, remains one of the largely misunderstood, fast-changing and under-valued fields of healthcare.
ABOUT.

My patients inspired me to run the New York City marathon and experience what an injury feels like on both sides. I am constantly developing my knowledge about running injuries to be able to better serve my patients.
I am fervent about Women’s Health - the often hush-hushed misery so many women suffer through silently. One of my passion projects is developing resources and research around strength straining and sport during and after pregnancy.
My treatment style is heavily grounded in evidence-based research, pain physiology, lifestyle medicine and yes -
I am a movement optimist.
